WORKSHOPS, KEYNOTES AND PRESENTATIONS FOR BUSINESS LEADERS AND TEAMS.

After decades of experience in both the corporate and behavioral health fields, I’m convinced that good supervision, good management, good leadership, and good organizational development all function a lot like good therapy. It’s all about helping people find new perspectives, new insights, and new opportunities. In work settings, your greatest asset is your people. The relationships you develop are everything! Your effectiveness as a leader is limited by your relational blind spots.

I have worked with organizations across the spectrum–everything from small, privately owned companies, to non-profit companies, to publicly traded companies, to multi-billion dollar corporations–and I am struck by one reality that binds them all:

Relationships matter and emotional intelligence drives culture.

Business leaders often hold important tensions within their organizations: bolstering culture and organizational health while driving bottom line results; leading through change while building trust among team members; setting goals and pushing for growth while feeling overwhelmed and undervalued.

And much like a client who works with a therapist for personal growth, most professionals need a skillful guide to help them change how they see things so they can find perspective shifts that open the valves for productivity, fulfillment, greater buy-in, and mutual trust.

I enjoy working with professionals, teams, and organizations to address the things that create drag in performance and get in the way of optimal results. I offer ½ day to 2-day workshops, consulting, keynotes, and presentations on topics like:

  • How unaddressed stress can sabotage professional and personal relationships

  • Unpacking the why behind self-sabotage

  • Imposter syndrome

  • How increased self-awareness and emotional intelligence can impact productivity and increase revenue

  • What connection looks like in a professional context and how we may be missing important cues

  • The reality that employees quit bosses, not companies
